Symphony No. 3 is the third numbered symphony by Austrian composer Anton Bruckner, completed in 1873. A large-scale Romantic orchestral work in D minor, it is characterised by expansive brass chorales, dense polyphonic textures and sweeping slow movements, and it represents an early major statement in Bruckner's symphonic output that illustrates his developing approach to form and orchestration.
