String Quartet No. 15 in G major, D.887 is the fifteenth string quartet by Austrian composer Franz Schubert, composed in 1826-1827. The four-movement work combines expansive lyrical writing, bold harmonic shifts and wide-ranging contrasts of mood and dynamics, and as Schubert's final completed quartet it represents the culmination of his chamber-music output and points towards early Romantic expression.
