Clair de lune
Album by Claude Debussy & Marie‐Pierre Langlamet & Ludwig Quandt & Berliner Philharmoniker
Clair de lune is a piano piece by French composer Claude Debussy, published in 1905. The work features delicate, flowing arpeggiated textures, modal harmonies and subtle dynamic shading characteristic of Debussy's Impressionist piano style, and it represents an early example of his shift away from 19th-century Romanticism toward more colouristic, atmospheric writing.
