Aida

Album by Giuseppe Verdi

Aida is an opera by Italian composer Giuseppe Verdi, first performed in 1871. The work is a grand Romantic opera characterised by large-scale orchestration, expansive choruses and theatrical spectacle with elements of orientalism, and it occupies a central place in Verdi's late career for its synthesis of dramatic structure and lyrical writing.
