E.P. Collection is a compilation box set of extended plays by English rock band the Beatles, released in 1981. The collection presents material from the band's early 1960s Merseybeat and pop-rock period, characterised by concise, guitar-driven arrangements and close vocal harmonies, and it documents an early phase in their career when their songwriting and recording approach was evolving rapidly.
