Ivanhoe: Act 1 is the first act of the opera Ivanhoe by Sir Arthur Sullivan, premiered in 1891. The music is in a late Victorian grand-opera style with rich orchestration and extended choral writing, and it was one of Sullivan's larger-scale operatic projects after decades spent composing comic operas.
