Album by David Darling

Journal October is an album by American cellist David Darling, released in 1979. The album features largely solo cello performances that blend improvisation, ambient and contemporary classical textures in a spacious sound, and it came early in Darling's solo recording career when he developed a spare, exploratory approach to the instrument.
