Piano Quartets

Piano Quartets is a set of chamber works by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, composed in 1785–1786. Scored for piano with violin, viola and cello, the quartets sit within the classical chamber-music repertoire and feature transparent textures, conversational interplay between piano and strings and a mixture of lyrical and more dramatic writing that reflects Mozart's middle-period stylistic development.
