Shimri is a studio album by Norwegian jazz bassist Arild Andersen, released in 1977. It blends post-bop and Nordic jazz with lyrical acoustic bass, open ensemble improvisation and spacious melodies, and it follows his early recordings that moved toward European jazz styles.
