Wind Quintets

Wind Quintets is a set of chamber works by Antoine Reicha, composed in the 1810s. They are scored for flute, oboe, clarinet, horn and bassoon and combine Classical forms with early Romantic harmonic ideas, and they played a role in the rise of the wind quintet as a standard chamber ensemble in the early 19th century.
