Conquistador

Conquistador is a 1977 studio album by Canadian jazz trumpeter Maynard Ferguson. The album has a big band jazz core blended with jazz fusion and pop-oriented arrangements, with prominent brass leads, electric keyboards and a rhythm section that emphasises contemporary grooves, and it followed a period in Ferguson's career when he moved toward more commercially oriented material.
