Má vlast is a set of six symphonic poems by Czech composer Bedřich Smetana, composed between 1874 and 1879. The work is an extended cycle of nationalistic orchestral tone poems that employs colourful orchestration, recurring motifs and programme-driven material to evoke Bohemian landscapes and history, representing a late-period culmination of Smetana's efforts to forge a distinctly Czech orchestral voice.
