String Quartets Nos 10, 11 and 15 are chamber works by Dmitri Shostakovich, composed in 1964, 1966 and 1974 respectively. They exemplify his late-period quartet writing, characterised by terse, often dissonant textures, austere and introspective slow movements, episodic motivic development and moments of mordant humour that reflect a compressed, intensely personal musical language in the context of his later career.
