Virgin Killer is the fourth studio album by German rock band Scorpions, released in 1976. The album marks a shift towards a heavier, more melodic hard rock and early heavy metal sound characterised by driving guitar riffs, punchy rhythms and more concise song structures, and it occupies a transitional place in the band's career as they moved from earlier experiments toward the metal-oriented direction of their late-1970s output.
