Samson is an oratorio by the German-British composer G. F. Haendel, first performed in 1743. The work is in the Baroque oratorio style and uses choral and solo vocal forces with orchestral accompaniment; it dates from the later phase of Haendel's career when he concentrated on English oratorio.
