Symphony No. 8 is the eighth symphony by Austrian composer Anton Bruckner, completed in 1887. A large-scale late-Romantic orchestral work, it features expanded orchestration, dense contrapuntal textures, prominent brass chorales and sweeping dynamic contrasts, and is one of Bruckner's final completed symphonies that exemplifies his late symphonic style and structural ambition.
