The Nutcracker Suite (Expanded Edition) is an expanded reissue of the studio album by American jazz bandleader Duke Ellington, originally released in 1960. Musically it is a big band jazz adaptation of classical themes with swing rhythms, close ensemble voicings and orchestral textures, and it was part of Ellington's late-career focus on arranging non-jazz repertoire for his orchestra.
