Symphony No. 13 in B-flat minor, Op. 113, is the thirteenth symphony by Dmitri Shostakovich, composed and premiered in 1962. Scored for bass soloist and large orchestra and setting a cycle of poems by Yevgeny Yevtushenko on social and political themes, it marks a vocal and politically engaged direction in Shostakovich's later orchestral output.
