Symphony No. 4 in E-flat major is the fourth symphony by Austrian composer Anton Bruckner, completed in 1874. The work features expansive, richly scored orchestral textures, broad thematic development and pronounced contrasts typical of late-Romantic symphonic writing, and it occupies a transitional place in Bruckner's output as he refined the structural and harmonic techniques that would shape his later symphonies.
