Wynton is the debut studio album by American jazz trumpeter Wynton Marsalis, released in 1982. The album is rooted in hard bop and post-bop with acoustic group arrangements and a focus on trumpet-led melodies, and it placed Marsalis early in his career within a younger wave returning to traditional acoustic jazz.
