Bolero

Boléro is an orchestral composition by French composer Maurice Ravel, composed in 1928. The work is constructed from a single repeating melody over a persistent ostinato rhythm that steadily builds in orchestral colour and dynamic intensity through the successive addition of instruments, occupying a distinctive place in Ravel's output and in early 20th-century orchestral repertoire.
