Silfra is an album by American violinist Hilary Hahn, released in 2012. It pairs her classical violin with spare prepared-piano and subtle electronic textures in a largely improvised contemporary-classical and minimalist idiom, and it is a turn towards more experimental, intimate material after her prior standard repertoire recordings.
