Symphony No. 10 'Ameríndia' is a symphony by Brazilian composer Heitor Villa-Lobos, composed in 1952. The work blends orchestral modernism with elements drawn from Brazilian folk and indigenous musical traditions, featuring vigorous rhythms, expansive forms and colourful orchestration, and it sits within Villa-Lobos's late-period symphonic output as an example of his efforts to synthesise national materials with symphonic practice.
