Quadrophenia is the sixth studio album by English rock band The Who, released in 1973. The album is a rock opera that blends hard rock, power pop and layered synthesiser and horn arrangements to explore themes of youth identity and social alienation, continuing the band's development of long-form narrative songwriting after their earlier rock-opera work.
