もののけ姫 イメージアルバム is the image album by 久石譲 (Joe Hisaishi), released in 1996. The album is largely orchestral and draws on ambient soundscapes, traditional Japanese timbres, electronic accents and choral voices, and it preceded the film's official soundtrack as a companion in Hisaishi's body of work.
