Taken by Force is the fifth studio album by German rock band Scorpions, released in 1977. Musically, it is a guitar-driven hard rock and early heavy metal album with melodic choruses and aggressive riffing, and it was a move from the band's earlier progressive-tinged work toward a heavier, more direct rock sound.
