McLemore Avenue

Album by Booker T. & the MG’s

Released in 1970, McLemore Avenue is an instrumental soul/R&B album on Stax in which Booker T. & the M.G.’s reinterpret The Beatles’ Abbey Road as extended medleys, named after the Memphis street where Stax Records’ studio stood.
