Impromptus
Album by Franz Schubert & Klára Würtz
Impromptus is a set of solo piano pieces by Austrian composer Franz Schubert, composed in 1827–1828. They exemplify Schubert's mature piano writing, combining lyrical melodies, inventive harmonic turns and contrasting textures, and are representative of his late piano output and the early Romantic piano repertoire.
