Symphony no. 3: First Version

Symphony No. 3 (First Version) is the original 1873 version of the third symphony by Austrian composer Anton Bruckner. The large-scale Romantic symphony combines Wagnerian orchestral colour, expansive thematic development and bold brass writing, representing an early mature statement that documents Bruckner's evolving compositional approach and the revisions that would follow in his later career.
