Die Klavierkonzerte is the set of two piano concertos by German composer Johannes Brahms, composed and published in 1858–59 and 1878–81. Musically they fuse Romantic orchestral richness with demanding, virtuosic piano writing and expansive symphonic structures, juxtaposing dramatic and lyrical material, and they mark important stages in Brahms's career as he moved towards a more symphonic conception of the concerto form.
