Stabat Mater is a sacred choral work by Czech composer Antonín Dvořák, completed in 1877. The work sets the Latin Stabat Mater text for soloists, chorus and orchestra, combining late-Romantic orchestral colour with Czech melodic inflections and occupying a central place among Dvořák's large-scale sacred compositions and in the Romantic choral repertoire.
