Merry Mount is an opera by American composer Howard Hanson, premiered in 1934. It is written in a late-Romantic tonal style with expansive orchestration and prominent choral writing, drawing on an adaptation of a Nathaniel Hawthorne story, and it represents Hanson's principal operatic contribution of the 1930s and a facet of American opera of that period.
