Fast Last! is a studio album by American jazz trumpeter Lester Bowie, released in 1974. The record blends free-jazz improvisation with composed passages; Bowie uses bold trumpet lines, wide dynamic shifts and moments of humour, and the album came early in his solo recording career as he moved from small-group avant garde work toward larger ensemble projects.
