Welte-Mignon is a collection of piano-roll recordings by Russian-born pianist Vladimir Horowitz, recorded in 1926. The rolls document Horowitz's early approach to romantic repertoire with notable dynamic contrasts, expressive timing and virtuosic passagework, providing an important early historical record of his playing and of reproducing-piano technology.
