Lyric Pieces is a collection of short piano pieces by Norwegian composer Edvard Grieg, composed and published in several volumes between 1867 and 1901. The works employ Romantic harmonies, folk‑influenced melodies and concise miniature forms, and they occupy an important place in Grieg's output and in the 19th-century piano repertoire for blending national Romantic elements with salon and concert idioms.
