Can others see my ratings and playlists?
TL;DR
Your ratings and public playlists are visible on your profile to other users.
Profile visibility
Your Raygum profile is public and visible to other users. This includes your username, display name, and avatar. Other users can visit your profile to see your music activity.
Rating visibility
Your ratings are visible on your profile. When you rate an album, your star rating appears on your profile's ratings tab and contributes to the overall community rating on the release page. Reviews you write are also publicly visible.
Playlist visibility
When you create a playlist, you can choose whether it is public or private:
- Public playlists: visible on your profile and can be shared with anyone
- Private playlists: only visible to you
You can change a playlist's visibility at any time by editing the playlist settings.
What followers can see
When someone follows you, they can see your recent ratings and activity in their following feed. This helps your followers discover music you enjoy.
