Can I write a review?

TL;DR

Yes, you can write a review for any album by clicking the review button on the release page.

Writing a review

  1. Navigate to any release page
  2. Click the review button to open the review form
  3. Optionally set a star rating at the top of the form
  4. Write your review in the text area (up to 10,000 characters)
  5. Use the Preview tab to see how your Markdown will look
  6. Click "Publish Review" when you are happy with it

Markdown formatting

Reviews support Markdown so you can format your text. Common options include:

  • Bold - wrap text in **double asterisks**
  • Italic - wrap text in *single asterisks*
  • Lists - start lines with - or 1.

Editing a review

You can edit your published review at any time by returning to the release page and clicking the edit option on your review. You can update both the text and the star rating.

One review per album

Each user can write one review per album. If you try to submit a second review for the same album, you will see a message asking you to edit your existing review instead.
