Violin

The violin music genre, often found parading around in classical concert halls since the late 16th century, is essentially the posh cousin of string instruments, boasting a rich history filled with dramatic compositions and, one assumes, a lot of bowing practice. This genre is characterised by its expressive melodies and, let's be honest, a knack for making even the simplest of tunes sound like a monumental life event, often requiring a handkerchief at the ready for some good old-fashioned crying. Not to mention, the violin has infiltrated folk, jazz, and even a bit of rock, proving it can crash any party and still look classy whilst doing so.
