Uk Hardcore
UK Hardcore emerged in the early 1990s in the UK, when it seemed reasonable to marry the frenetic beats of rave culture with a dash of punk attitude, because why not? Characterised by its fast tempo, soaring melodic hooks, and the kind of breakdowns that can make your knees buckle, it’s like a sugar rush in musical form. It’s probably the only genre where someone can shout about life’s struggles whilst bouncing around like a pogo stick, and the crowd loves it for that distinctive madness.
