Thrashcore

Thrashcore, which emerged in the mid-1980s alongside the growing appetite for speed and intensity, is essentially what happens when hardcore punk meets thrash metal and decides it absolutely must break the sound barrier. With blistering tempos, shouted vocals, and often lyrics that tackle social and political issues, it sounds like a chaotic adrenaline rush; no wonder fans like to describe it as music for people who cannot sit still for more than three seconds.
