It's characterised by a mix of lo-fi punk sounds, DIY ethics, and lyrics that often tackle themes of sexuality, gender, and social issues, all whilst maintaining a cheeky sense of rebellion. The genre's like a raucous party that hands out flyers to inclusivity, proving that not fitting in has never sounded so good.
