Hardcore artists
Hardcore music emerged in the late 1970s and early 1980s, primarily from the punk scene in the US, as if punks decided that shouting louder was the key to world domination. Characterised by fast tempos, aggressive guitar riffs, and a distinct lack of subtlety, it sounds like a dog barking at a passing bus, relentless and deafening, leaving little room for gentle feelings. This genre also spawned a fervent subculture, where the participants could often be spotted in oversized T-shirts, creating a mosh pit that doubles as a fitness regime for those brave enough to join in.
