Future House emerged around 2014 in the vibrant scenes of Europe, particularly France and the Netherlands, when someone decided that house music needed a little more wobble and a bit less subtlety. It’s characterised by a blend of house beats, deep basslines, and synths that sound like they’ve just escaped from a futuristic video game, all whilst ensuring that no one could possibly take themselves too seriously.
