Otari MTR-90
Recorder by Otari
The Otari MTR-90 is a 2-inch 24-track analogue multitrack tape recorder introduced in 1982, built around a pinch-roller-free transport that used a large-diameter capstan and servo-controlled reel motors for consistent tape tension. It became a standard machine in professional recording studios throughout the 1980s and 1990s, with later MKII and MKIII revisions refining the transport control and adding microprocessor-based automation.
