Hugh Hopper

Hugh Hopper (29 April 1945 – 7 June 2009) was an English bass guitarist and composer associated with the Canterbury scene, noted for his work with The Wilde Flowers and Soft Machine. His output spanned progressive rock, jazz fusion and experimental music, and he released solo albums and numerous collaborations from the 1960s through the 2000s.
