Sophie Ellis‐Bextor

Sophie Ellis‑Bextor (born 10 April 1979 in Hounslow, London) is an English singer-songwriter whose work spans pop, disco, nu-disco and electronic dance music. She began her career as lead vocalist of the late-1990s indie band theaudience and launched a solo career in 2000, releasing multiple studio albums and collaborating with DJs and producers on dance-oriented tracks.
