Flor Peeters

Flor Peeters was a Belgian composer and organist born in 1903 who established his career in the early 20th century within the sacred and classical music traditions, combining church positions with conservatory teaching. His music is characterised by modal harmonies, rhythmic vitality and a neoclassical clarity that extended into choral and orchestral works and helped shape the organ and liturgical repertoire of mid‑20th-century Belgium.
