Gilad Atzmon & The Orient House Ensemble are a London-based jazz and world-music ensemble formed in the 1990s that blends jazz, klezmer and Middle Eastern traditions. Their work combines jazz improvisation with klezmer, Middle Eastern and Mediterranean motifs, often engaging with themes of diaspora and politics and evolving to incorporate chamber textures and composed suites across their recordings.
