Jan Koetsier

Jan Koetsier was a Dutch composer, conductor and trombonist who began his career in the Netherlands and later worked in Germany within the classical tradition. His output encompassed orchestral, chamber and brass music — including numerous works for wind and brass ensembles — and he taught composition while contributing to post‑war European wind and brass repertoire.
