Julius Fučík

Julius Fučík was a Czech composer from Prague, born in 1872, who worked primarily in the late Romantic era and made his career composing military and concert marches and band pieces. His style blended Romantic melodic sensibilities with rhythmic march structures, and several of his marches entered popular and military repertoire, with one becoming internationally associated with circus performances.
